For those following my Facebook page, you will have been aware that I endured the sudden loss of the love of my life last year. These past 15 months have been the most challenging of my life, and I’m uncertain if I’ve fully recovered, or if I ever will.

In an effort to make the rest of my life meaningful, I’ve dedicated the past year to a project aimed at raising funds for KittyCat Fixers. The project is nearing completion, and in the coming days, I’ll be sharing more details.

My goal is to bring Desexy back in 2024. I appreciate the support and understanding as I embark on this journey and make a positive impact for the future of KittyCat Fixers and all our feline companions around Aotearoa.

I sincerely apologise to all those who signed up for desexing vouchers this past year. In the midst of my grief, I overlooked the need to deactivate all forms. I deeply regret any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.

My aim is to start accumulating funds in our coffers so that, come next year, I can desex as many cats as possible. This initiative is driven by the desire to reduce the number of kittens born into a life of misery and neglect. Your support is crucial in making this vision a reality, and together, we can make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our feline friends.
